Jacques Raath is the founder and sole director of RVW Accountants. Jacques completed his B.compt Accounting degree through UNISA while completing his articles at a reputable Pretoria based Firm.

In 2005 Jacques started Raath Accountants from home as a sole proprietorship and later purchased Lizette van der Westhuizen Auditors in 2014 to form what is now known as Raath and Van Der Westhuizen Inc.

Jacques has dedicated his professional career to the development and growth of the company, its employees and clients. He has guided the company from strength to strength over the last 15 years to see the company flourish from a home based practice to a reputable firm with branches in Pretoria and Rustenburg, and with a client base extending as far as Durban KZN and Port Elizabeth EC.

Despite the company’s growth, Jacques remains a hands-on director and offers not only his expertise in Accounting, Trusts and Tax, but also a personal approach to all clients, believing that people invest in people. It is this dedication to his clients and employees that has resulted in the steadfast client base the firm now represents.

2020 was the year Jacques pioneered the way forward in the local area by adapting the company to align with the needs of today’s work environment. To ensure on going work, service and productivity, Jacques developed and instituted multiple platforms to allow employees to work from anywhere in the country, ensuring streamlined work output as well as job retention for all employees.

The future of the company will be guided by a strong leader with forward thinking capabilities, the growth of the company and high service standards to the client base will remain the main focus.
